DaVinci Kalani cribs for your peace of mind

We are so lucky to have found such a great baby crib! When it comes to something as important as where our first baby would be sleeping, I didn't think I would be able to decide on anything. The DaVinci Kalani cribs really fit the bill for us, though, and I haven't regretted it at all.

Despite what other reviewers said, I like the finish! It is beautiful! smooth, non-toxic, and actually made from wood from sustainable forests, so I don't even have to feel guilty about it. For us it has not scratched at all. We were careful when we put it together, but did not have any trouble.

It goes well with the other furniture in our nursery, and I feel good about it being in there–it looks sturdy, safe, and classy. Assembly for us was not an issue at all. The instructions were not as clear as I might have liked, but between the two of us it only took about two hours, and once we got the hang of it it was much easier.

One of my favorite features of the DaVinci Kalani is that one side of the crib is unmovable. I can reach right over that side into the crib to adjust something on the baby, or lift the baby out of the crib without any trouble, and I do not have to worry that he will be able to fiddle with the bed rails and hurt himself by moving it or somehow get out.

The Da Vinici Kalani cribs make parents feel good about their baby's safety

That is one of my other favorite features of this crib. The DaVinci Kalani cribs belong to the high quality range of convertible baby furniture available on the market, so it can be used for toddlers as well. It is nice to know that we can keep the same crib, and not have to go through the searching process again, and this one not only has the features of an infant crib and a toddler crib, but also is built sturdily enough to last through all the wear and tear of those years!

I really wanted something that I felt safe and good about keeping a newborn in, and this worked. I liked many of the DaVinci products, but the DaVinci Kalani convertible baby crib worked best for us simply because it has an elegant but durable finish, can safely adjust for a baby for several years, and is sturdy enough to actually last several years without falling apart. With the DaVinci Kalani cribs' special baby features, our baby sleeps peacefully and so do we!

The DaVinci crib is manufactured by a company with a stellar reputation for producing high quality nursery furniture. When I found out that my best friend was expecting her first child at 42, I knew right away that I wanted to help her get something which would endure for a long time, and she could pass on. These convertible cribs have eliminated the movable parts and reduced the chance of a jumping child pinching their fingers in movable parts. I also really liked that the company is very green and not only are the parts non-toxic and created with renewable sustainable natural resources, but they also take care and consideration of the environment in their manufacturing and shipping processes as well.

The Davinci Crib has a very attractive shape with nice curves that create a traditional design. They are available in a variety of finishes which blend with any nursery decor. The solid wood construction is very sturdy and strong which adds to the longevity of the crib and enables it to survive for years. The crib ships in a flat pack and needs assembly. The assembly directions are straightforward, user friendly, and are easy for even a first-timer to put together.

Review Summary

There have been several DaVinci Crib reviews from people who have had to move the bed. They all agree it was not difficult to disassemble for moving and then reassemble it in their new home. Hundreds of reviews from several sites all indicate customers are pleased with their purchase.

Some people have expressed dissatisfaction with the pine wood as it tends to ding easily, I felt this was minor compared to some finishes that actually chip off and leave glaring holes in the finish. Another minor downside is that child monitors are not easy to fit on the crib frame because of the thickness of the wood.

Overall, the safety and the sturdiness of this DaVinci crib is incomparable with other units and the ability to transform them into different beds as your child grows makes them a great value.
